We were busy in February with several small trips for Wendy and lots of work at home, church and the HOA for Chris. March seems to have flown by, and here we are on the first day of April, 2026 with a rundown on some of our activities for the end of winter.
We were happy to see our grandson, Jackson for the first time in several years as he made the trip with his Dad out to NC in January and again in March.

Wendy and Lily got a chance to get away at the beginning of February. We were in NY City on the coldest day in several decades. But, we managed to to have a great time. We saw the musical of The Outsiders, one of Lily's favorite books from high school. We also spent a great evening with cousins, John and Britt, and John's partner, Alex. Good food and wonderful company.

.

Continuing on in NY, Wendy spent a week with her Mom in Wyoming, NY. She also got to see some friends and family. It was a good week.
After almost two weeks in the cold and snowy north, Chris and Wendy headed to Florida. Unfortunately, it was also cold there, with highs in the low 50s our first two days. I know that is not as cold as what was happening up north, so we persevered and had a super time with Wendy's highschool BFF and her husband in St. Augustine and Palm Bay. And we celebrated Wendy's 72nd birthday. How about those bathing beauties, not too bad for OLD ladies!
March was pretty quiet with volunteer activities, church work and times spent with friends and family, including another visit from Jax and Ben. Wendy made pasta one night for dinner, still a novelty and a work in progress. We both helped out at the annual Easter Egg Hunt at our church and Chris did a great job of getting some pictures ready to hang in our upstairs where we still have plenty of wall-space. We did make it to the No Kings rally in Burlington, along with several like-minded friends.
And so we will spend a busy week, a Holy Week remembering the lonely walk Jesus took on Friday and the joy of Easter Sunday.
Let us know what you've been up to!
I love reading about all your adventures!
