Sting and a Reunion

Chris and I got to spend a day and a half in New York City in October, with the highlight being a Sting concert. At 73 years old, he gave a wonderful concert and we enjoyed some of our favorite songs with a great crowd. Due to a lucky break, we had seats close to the stage and had a great time vibing with the band and with Sting.

While in New York, we also got to see our nephew John (forgot to take pictures) and our niece Britt who are both living and working in New York right now. It was a delight to spend time with each of these young people.

October was also the month of the D'Arezzo reunion. All six of the siblings (Rick, Dan, Jim, Chris, Diane and Tom) and their partners were able to get together for a weekend and reminisce about past reunions and family fun times. This was the first siblings only reunion and the first time we were all together in several years.

Here's the whole group, first being serious and then being goofy. You decide which looks more natural.

We had a great time with all the siblings and then enjoyed a few extra special days with Diane and Paul, who had originally planned to go to Biltmore House in Western North Carolina. That plan was cancelled by Hurricane Helene.
We enjoyed some local sightseeing, including Bennet Place, Hanging Rock, The State Fair and some puzzling at home.

We look forward to seeing more family for Thanksgiving as we get ready to fly to California in a few days.
